I was finally able to download my Mom's photos and post them to the blog. The following posts have been updated with photos:
I've also taken the time to translate Fred's recent foray into the spotlight: Conference
Finally, a new post with plenty of photographic highlights right below this one... or if you're too lazy to use the scroll bar: Aelan Style.
New photos of Seth's continuing adventures in Vanuatu have been added to the "Friends and Fun" album. To view the new photos, you'll need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the first page of the photo album and click on the arrow that will take you to the second page and the new photos.
Just in case you haven't noticed, I've written two new posts below as well. Just wanted to get props. :)
I have laboriously uploaded some highlight photos from the last few weeks here in Vila. I say "laboriously" because our internet connection would only let me upload one photo at a time. So, multiply the 12 photos that I uploaded by approximately 5 minutes per photo and you get my dedication to this blog. You can find these photos in the "Friends and Fun" album. You'll see photos of the Excel training that Seth successfully held at PacLII, our walk down the Teoma river to Lololima waterfall and the Easter dinner that we held at our house. There's also one photo (entitled "Hideaway") that shows the general gray, rainy weather that characterised Seth's first two weeks here.
Also, a little bit of unsolicited blog advice. Most of the photos that I post are thumbnails and as such, are quite small. If you click on a photo, you'll get the full-size image. I do this because it saves on bandwidth and uploading time for me.
A couple new photos of our house have been posted to the "Our House" album, including my funky new curtains for Seth's room. I have also posted a couple photos of Sara Lightner's baby shower in the "Friends and Fun" album for those of you that know her!
I put the pictures of the meeting between the student's parents and the teacher on the album "friends and fun".
J'ai mis les photos de la journée parents prof dans l'album "Friends and Fun"
For those of you who like to get a head start on things, I have sorted and uploaded my photos from Australia and India. Per the suggestion of my astute younger brother, I have also included a photo album called "Wallpaper" with my choices of photos that you can save to your PC and then use as a screen saver or as wallpaper (hence the name of the folder). If there are any photos that you see on this blog which you would like in higher resolution, please don't hesitate to ask.
Posts concerning Australia and most certainly India will follow shortly. In the meantime, enjoy a good look at what happened during my trip. If you didn't already know, you'll note that I'm an avid animal lover. ;)
J'ai mis quelques photos dans les albums suivants : Friends and Fun, Various Vanuatu et Vila.
Fred, that mad poster, has just added a couple photos to the albums Chez Derousseau, Port Vila and Various Vanuatu. Check them out! And I'll try to get him to add some other jewels next week.
Just to show everyone what a rainy day is like in Vanuatu, I filmed a bit of our gorgeous weather yesterday. I've included the video in the "Weather" Post, two posts below this one.
Thanks to my technically-savvy brother, Seth, for rotating the video. :)
